What to Bring
Rosebud Special Receipt
If you purchased the Rosebud Special package it will be helpful at the gate if you ahve your receipt. It's not necessary - we'll be able to find your goodies, but it will speed up the process and help us with tracking documentation.
Be sure to bring your camp chairs and blankets! The Parking Lot Party is taking over the lawn this year, and while we don't provide seating, we're still small enough that you won't have to stand through one set just to race across the grounds for the next one - we'll definitely be that big someday! To revel in a full day of live music, settle into a comfy chair or spread out a blanket and make yourself at home. Just be sure to leave some room for dancing to the awesome bands in the lineup!
The festival grounds are cozy enough that you won't need hiking boots or running shoes to get around, but if you feel the vibe and the music gets hold of you, you could be dancing for hours!
The Parking Lot Party happens rain or shine. We'll have a tent hunker down in if the skies open up, but bathroom breaks will require a quick sprint through the elements. Plan accordingly - soggy socks and good times don't always mix.
We fully expect a beautiful day, so bring your sun gear!
• The right hat can help you look great and keep you safe from the sun
• Don't forget the sunscreen, preferably lotion - you don't want to get sunburned at the bash
• If you plan on playing games outside the tent, you'll want those sunglasses so you can see to win
• If all that sunshine makes for a hot day, a personal pocket fan might be the key to keeping you cool
Why we fully expect a beautiful day, we could be wrong...
• A rain poncho or jacket will keep you dry as you the restrooms, vendors, or to the games area
• A hot Michigan day can turn into a cold Michigan night - bring layers and blankets to stay cozy

Outside Food & Drink
You'll love the dining options we'll have available all day. We'll also have a range of refreshemnts optons for all ages and tastes.
Coolers
We'll have plenty of cold food and drink options so you won't need coolers.
Musical Instruments
We get it, great live music makes bringing an instrument to join the band sound awesome, but our talented musical artists are here to share their music and artistry as they intended it to be experienced, so we ask that you leave your instruments at home.
If you're planning to participate in the music collaboration, bring your instruments and performance gear and check in at the Ignite the Arts information desk when you arrive. We'll point you in the right direction and get you stage-ready.
Potentially Dangerous Items
While most people know obvious dangerous items like firearms, weapons, and fireworks, don't belong at the party, there are a few less obvious items to keep in mind as well. If your umbrella has a sharp or pointed tip, it's best to leave it at home, and the Jarts game should absolutely skip this outing. Just remember to give your gear a quick once-over and make sure anything you bring is safe for everyone around you.
Parking
There is a baseball tournament in the park on Party day, July 18, so parking will be at a premium.
You'll find several parking options marked on the map, but we recommend starting with the South Lot, because it's the furthest from the ball diamonds and most likely to have parking spots available.
That said, you're welcome to park in any available space within the lots designated on the map. With the tournament in town, finding a parking spot may take a little extra time, so be prepared.

Welcome to the Haus of Greta Annual Parking Lot Party ("Parking Lot Party”, "Festival", "Event"), operated by Ignite the Arts Foundation ("we”, “us”, or "our"). By purchasing a ticket, entering the Festival grounds, or participating in any Festival activities, you ("Attendee”, "you”, or "your") agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read these terms carefully before purchasing tickets or attending the Festival.
1. Ticket Purchase & Entry
1.1 Entry Wristband Validity

All entry wristband purchases must be worn securely at all times and are non-refundable and non-transferable unless otherwise stated.

Entry is subject to availability and venue capacity limits

We reserve the right to refuse entry or remove any person from the Festival at our sole discretion

Lost, stolen, or damaged tickets cannot be replaced. There will be a Lost and Found at the Ignite the Arts information booth.
1.2 Age Requirements

The Festival is open to all ages, but minors under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times

Valid government-issued photo ID is required for entry and for alcohol purchases
-
Anyone under 21 attempting to purchase or consume alcohol will be removed from th Festival without refund
Wristbands will be issued at entry for age verification purposes
1.3 Entry & Security

All persons and belongings are subject to search upon entry and at any time during the Festival

We reserve the right to use metal detectors, bag searches, and other security measures
-
Refusal to submit to search will result in denial of entry without refund
2. Prohibited Items & Conduct
2.1 Prohibited Items

The following items are strictly prohibited and will result in confiscation and possible removal from the Festival:

Weapons of any kind (firearms, knives, tasers, pepper spray, etc.)

Illegal drugs or substances
-
Outside food or beverages (including alcohol)

Glass containers of any kind

Professional cameras or recording equipment (without prior authorization)

Drones or remote-controlled aircraft
-
Laser pointers
-
Large bags or backpacks (size restrictions apply)

Fireworks, flares, or explosives
-
Animals (except certified service animals)
-
Unauthorized vendor merchandise
-
Any item deemed dangerous or inappropriate by security staff
2.2 Prohibited Conduct

Fighting, aggressive behavior, or harassment of any kind

Illegal drug use or possession
-
Excessive intoxication or disorderly conduct
-
Moshing, crowd surfing, or other dangerous activities
-
Unauthorized vending or solicitation
-
Sitting on shoulders or blocking views of other attendees
-
Climbing on structures, fences, or equipment
-
Damaging property or facilities
-
Violating local, state, or federal laws
3. Health & Safety
3.1 Assumption of RiskItems
By attending the Festival, you acknowledge and assume all risks associated with attendance, including but not limited to:

Risk of injury from crowd activities, weather conditions, or venue hazards

Exposure to loud music and sound levels that may cause hearing damage

Exposure to strobe lights, lasers, and visual effects
-
Risk of illness or communicable diseases
-
Risk of loss or theft of personal property
-
Physical and mental health risks associated with large gatherings
3.2 Medical Attention

Medical support will be called for emergencies

You are responsible for any medical expenses incurred during the Festival

We recommend attendees bring necessary medications and medical supplies
-
Notify staff immediately if you witness a medical emergency
3.3 Weather & Environmental Conditions

The Festival is primarily an outdoor event and will proceed rain or shine
-
Severe weather may cause delays, evacuations, or cancellation
-
We are not responsible for weather-related inconveniences
-
Attendees should prepare for varying weather conditions
4. Cancellation, Postponement & Refunds
4.1 Event Changes

We reserve the right to modify the Festival schedule, lineup, or venue at any time
-
Lineup changes, including artist cancellations or substitutions, do not constitute grounds for refunds
-
The Festival may be postponed or rescheduled due to circumstances beyond our control
-
We will make reasonable efforts to notify attendees of significant changes via email and social media
4.2 Refund Policy

All ticket sales are final - no refunds or exchanges
-
Refunds will only be issued if the Festival is completely cancelled prior to the advertised event date and not rescheduled
-
Weather delays, lineup changes, or shortened performances do not qualify for refunds
-
If the Festival is cancelled, refunds will be limited to the ticket face value (not including fees)
-
Refund processing may take 30-60 days from the cancellation date
-
We are not responsible for travel, accommodation, or other expenses related to Festival attendance
4.3 Force Majeure
We shall not be liable for any failure to perform our obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: acts of God, natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, strikes, terrorism, war, or venue unavailability.
5. Recording & Media
5.1 Photography & Video

Personal, non-professional cameras and smartphones are permitted for personal use only

Professional cameras, video equipment, and GoPros are prohibited without prior authorization
-
Commercial use of any photos or videos taken at the Festival is strictly prohibited
-
Live streaming or recording of performances without permission is prohibited
5.2 Use of Your Image
By attending the Festival, you grant Ignite the Arts Foundation and its affiliates the irrevocable right to use your image, likeness, voice, and appearance in any photographs, videos, or recordings taken at the Festival for promotional, marketing, or commercial purposes without compensation or approval. This includes use on social media, websites, advertising, and other media.
6. Intellectual Property
All Festival content, including but not limited to logos, branding, music performances, stage designs, and promotional materials, are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution of any Festival content is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action.
7. Liability & Indemnification
7.1 Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IGNITE THE ARTS FOUNDATION, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, SPONSORS, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM:

Your attendance at or inability to attend the Festival

Personal injury, death, or property damage
-
Lost, stolen, or damaged personal property
-
Actions or omissions of other attendees, artists, vendors, or third parties
-
Festival cancellation, postponement, or changes
-
Any errors or omissions in Festival information or materials
7.2 Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Ignite the Arts Foundation, its officers, directors, employees, agents, sponsors, and affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your attendance at the Festival, violation of these Terms and Conditions, or violation of any laws or rights of third parties.
8. Code of Conduct
The Haus of Greta Parking Lot Party is committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for all attendees. We have zero tolerance for:

Harassment, discrimination, or hate speech of any kind.

This includes but is not limited to: racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, ageism, or ableism. The Parking Lot Party is a safe space for everyone, regardless of background or identity.

Sexual harassment or unwanted physical contact
-
Violence, threats, or aggressive behavior
-
Theft, vandalism, or destruction of property
-
Any behavior that endangers the safety or enjoyment of others
Violation of this Code of Conduct will result in immediate removal from the Festival without refund and may result in being banned from future events. We encourage all attendees to look out for one another and report any concerns to Festival staff.
9. Accessibility
We strive to make the Event accessible to all attendees. Accessibility accommodations are available for attendees with disabilities. Please contact us in advance at info@IngiteTAF.org to arrange accommodations or request information about accessible facilities and services.
10. Lost & Found
A Lost & Found will be available at the Ignite the Arts information booth. We are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items. Found items will be held for a limited time and may be discarded or donated after the Festival concludes. Contact us after the Festival to inquire about lost items.
11. Privacy & Data Collection
Your privacy is important to us. Information collected during ticket purchase and Festival attendance is subject to our Privacy Policy. By purchasing a ticket or attending the Festival, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in our Privacy Policy.
12. Disputes & Governing Law
12.1 Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Michigan, where the Festival takes place, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
12.2 Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from these Terms and Conditions or your attendance at the Festival shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. You waive your right to participate in class action lawsuits or class-wide arbitration.
12.3 Venue & Jurisdiction
You agree that any legal action or proceeding related to the Festival shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in the county where the Festival takes place, and you consent to the jurisdiction of such courts.
13. Severability
If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions.
14. Changes to Terms & Conditions
We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on our website with an updated "Last Updated" date. Your continued attendance at the Festival or use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified terms. We encourage you to review these Terms and Conditions periodically.
